Powell Training Center is a year-round equestrian facility
located in Hastings, MI. The mid-Michigan location is ideal
for travel to in-state shows and nearby out-of-state regional
competitions.
Zac and Lisa have been training Arabians and Half-Arabians
for most of their adult lives. After purchasing their farm in 2012,
they converted it into a comprehensive training facility.
Before starting PTC, they had worked with leading trainers
Shawn and Carmelle Rooker, Gordon Potts, and Josh Quintas
to improve their training skills.
Zac works with the western, hunter, and halter horses for both
Open and Amateur riders. In his spare time from training, he has
also been responsible for all of the facility upgrades.
Lisa trains the hunters, show hack, sidesaddle, and country
pleasure horses for Open and Amateur classes, and also
provides instruction for her amateur riders.
Last but not least are Charlie, Jasper, and Lilly. They are the
official greeters and are also responsible for the farm and show
security.
